The Bamenda boys subdued Union of Douala on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 to grab the first position, one point ahead of second place of Coton Sport of Garoua.
The Cottoners of Garoua missed to turn the tables after sharing 2-2 spoils with the Bamoutos of Mbouda fondly called “Mangwa Boys” on day-28 matches. As at now, Cotton counts 46 points in 13 wins and draws.
At the third position comes Colombe of Dja and Lobe , a club that briefly enjoyed leadership on day-24 but failed to keep the steam. Colombe played host to Stade Renard of Melong in a match that ended with a virgin score leaving the boys of Dja and Lobo at 45 points.
Bamboutos of Mbouda and Feutcheu FC of Bandjoun , both teams from the West region occupy the fourth and the fifth positions with 41 points each.
On day-28 , Feutcheu hosted visiting UMS Loum in a 1-0 clash that ended in favour of UMS.
Three other teams, Avion of Nkam(33), Tonnerre Kalara Club (32) and Dragon of Yaounde (28) are all in the relegation zone and tail the classification chart.
