Options Sports Academy of Limbe, OSA, showed no mercy as they humiliated city rivals Future Stars Sports Academy, FUSSA, Limbe 10-1.
The occasion was matchday Seven of the ongoing South West Regional Championship that took place at the Limbe Middle Farms Stadium on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Hat tricks from Samuel Nse and Fang Engelbert, a brace from substitute Ngong Lendy and goals from Cabrel Biagni and Chinda Rivaldo set the goal festival alive.
Biagni Cabrel was the first to open the scoring at the 11th minute in what will later be a goal festival.
Skipper Fang Engelbert scored from the spot at the 26th minute after Biagni was brought down in the box to make it 0-2.
However, the home side responded through Nkwain Mbounsong to make it 1-2 at the 35th minute.
Their joy was short-lived as midfielder Chinda Rivaldo’s superb strike increased the tally to 1-3 at the 36th minute.
Dominating the game and operating on the high pressing system, OSA Warriors were on a goal-scoring rampage.
Skipper Fang got his brace in the game in the 42nd minute before both sides could go for recess with the scoreline at 1-4.
In the second segment, the intensity was increased after a couple of substitutions from gaffer Guy K Berlin.
This will pay off at the 54th minute as Samuel Nse got his first in the game to make it 1-5.
He will again get a brace at the 64th minute to make it 1-6.
Substitute Ngong Lendy got ok the score sheet at the 67th minute to make it 1-7.
A few minutes before his substitution, Nse got his hat trick in the game at the 75th minute to make it 1-8.
Ngong got his brace after hitting the back of the net for the second time in the 78th minute Options SA leads 1-9.
Skipper Fang Engelbert put the icing on the cake at the 89th minute to get his hat trick as the scoreline reads 1-10.
With the game coming to an end, Options SA ends the first round in the 3rd position.
