Clubs in the Northwest Region benefited from the largesse of Southwest Regional League side Options Sports Academy of Limbe.
Our President, Neba Henry Awantoh donated 90 match balls to some 30 women’s and men’s clubs in the Northwest Regional League.
The clubs that received the balls during the Northwest FECAFOOT General Assembly, had some 22 men’s Regional League clubs and 8 Regional feminine clubs.
Going by the Boss, it is the club’s little way of promoting football in the country, especially the grassroots.
This is not the first time clubs in the Northwest and Southwest region are receiving such a gesture from the emblematic Boss.
Before the 2020/2021 Southwest Mini Interpools, he donated 90 balls to the eight clubs taking part in the competition. Also, he donated balls to the representatives of Northwest and Southwest region, Rangers Bafut and Best Stars as they prepare for the National Interpools.
Also, when the bus of Elite One side PWD Bamenda was engulfed by fire alongside sports equipment, he donated them balls.
Meanwhile, when we humbled a club in the Fako League back in 2020, the Boss, Neba Henry Awantoh donated the club balls to help them train more.
These and more have been some of the works of the boss President Neba Henry Awantoh in promoting football in the country.
